ZIL - 4104 / 115 is a car of a representative class with a body limousine, manufactured by the plant. Likhachev in 1978-1983. Experienced cars and cars of the first issues had the designation ZIL-115 , which was subsequently replaced by ZIL-4104 in connection with the adoption in the USSR of a new classification system. In 1983-1985, the ZIL-41045 was produced, and in 1986-2002 the ZIL-41047 was produced. They had only some external differences from the basic model, technically all models of the series were the same. ZIL-4104 was the last car used by the General Secretary of the CPSU Central Committee, Leonid Brezhnev. In total, from 1978 to 1983, 106 ZIL-4104 cars were built in various modifications. From 1983 to 1985, the ZIL-41045 was produced, differing from the basic model with only some external details. From 1986 to 2002 ZIL-41047, also differed only in details. In total, about two hundred ZIL-4104 and its modifications were manufactured. The engine, transmission, chassis, saloon of all cars on the basis of ZIL-4104, except for some exceptions, were the same. Individual upgraded versions of ZIL-4104 were produced until 2000.
