Production 1950s. They should never have gone in series (hearsay). At the end of Millennium the last factory of the Marx family, near the Canada - United States border, was closed, when workers still 'found' some pieces. These were referred to as pattern constructions. Only a few pieces are known, which then came on the market for a very short period.. In early 21st century a handful of driver figures (unpainted) came on the market. These were cast by a collector on an old model in resin (also suitable for other car models by L. Marx. My collection includes 3 piece in 'shop-new' condition, all with drivers. Known to me there are models in red, blue and green.
