The BMW Z4 E89 is the second generation of the Z4 roadster series and was manufactured from 2009 to 2016. The sports car was developed and produced at the BMW plant in Regensburg. The most significant innovation of the BMW Z4 E89 compared to its predecessor, the Z4 E85, is the retractable hardtop that transforms the roadster into a coupe.
