The model car shown here is based on the famous BMW F10 M5. This specific generation, produced from 2011 to 2016, is one of the most powerful and luxurious sedans ever built by BMW M. The F10 M5 followed the highly successful E60 M5 and set new standards in terms of performance and technology. Adrian van Hooydonk was the designer of the F10 M5, while the development engineers were under the leadership of Albert Biermann.
The BMW F10 M5 is equipped with a 4.4-liter V8 twin-turbocharged engine that delivers an impressive 560 horsepower. This allows the car to reach a top speed of 305 km/h (190 mph) with the M Driver's Package and accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h (0-62 mph) in just 4.1 seconds. The chassis has been completely revised to handle the additional power, offering adaptive dampers, active differential, and a specific M Servotronic steering. The interior is luxuriously appointed with leather upholstery and high-quality materials, making it a perfect blend of performance and comfort.
Here we have a 1/18 scale model car made by Paragon. The model is made of diecast material and showcases impressive detailing. Particularly striking about this model are the special wheels, vintage models by HRE, in glossy black. This is a personalized model in the collection of Modelly member "Bmw-M-Fan" and does not represent the original product produced by Paragon.
The 1/18 scale miniature is adorned with a special metallic red paint scheme complemented by black accents and badges. This color combination provides a very elegant yet sporty appearance, reflecting the original vehicle excellently. It is worth noting that this miniature has been modified, displaying specific features that are not present in the original Paragon product.
