In My collection since 2015 The legendary UR-M3 as a special model "Cecotto". Of this series of the M3 of the model series E30, named after the racing driver Johnny Cecotto, only 505 vehicles were built! The M3 E30 is the most successful racing car ever. With the road models, which were initially only built to achieve the necessary homologation for racing, BMW paved the way to success in racing. The still growing demand for this model makes the M3 E30 the legend. BMW has built a performance-enhancing special model in honor of its factory driver Johnny Cecotto - among other things recognizable by the color of the air collector and the valve cover - both carry Misanorot. 215 hp (with catalytic converter) tickled BMW from the in-line engine, which catapulted the M3 up to 241 km / h.

505 pieces were sold in 1989 as a special model "Johnny Cecotto", 25 of which were delivered again as a special model "Roberto Ravaglia". The Johnny Cecotto was recognizable by the numbered plaque with the sign "Cecotto" (the Ravaglias, of course, with his signature), the partial leather trim in the design of motorsport, additional rear and front spoilers. Available in the colors misanorot, macaoblau and nogarosilber, he had the 2.3 liter engine with 215 hp. The Cecotto special model was designed for 505 copies. Anyone who wants to have one now has to calculate with at least 70,000 euros (mobile.de). It can also be twice as expensive.
