This is ZIL 131 military truck. The model is made by Elecon in scale 1:43 and like other models from Elecon it has very cool suspension on rear wheels. ZIL-131 is a Soviet and Russian truck of increased cross-country ability of the Moscow Automobile Plant named after Likhachev. It was the replacement of the ZIL-157 truck. A considerable part of these machines were produced for the Soviet Army. The body is a wooden platform with a folding tailgate, in the side board grilles there are folding benches for 16 seats, there is an additional average removable bench for 8 seats, the body is covered with a tent for the installed arches. Unlike the ZIL-157, the ZIL-131 is equipped with a V-shaped 8-cylinder engine. The engine capacity is 5,9 litres. The fuel tanks are 150 litres each. The front axle can be turned on by means of a toggle switch on the instrument panel, and when the lower-gear lever is turned on in the transfer case, the pneumatic drive of the front axle is forced from the switch installed in the mechanism. In the transmission on the 2nd and 4th gear there are locks that prevent the automatic shutdown of the transmission, for example, when the engine brakes on the descent. A non-contact ignition system with an electronic commutator was used, a more powerful car alternator. In the event of failure of the electronic switch, there is an emergency pulse generator, which allows it to move on its own for up to 30 hours without significant loss of dynamics
