The MAZ-543 / MAZ-7310 is a Soviet four-wheel four-axle (8 × 8) heavy-duty truck from the Minsk Automobile Plant in serial production since 1962. The first prototype was produced in 1958. It was first presented to the public on November 7, 1965 in a parade in Moscow, when a battery of missile systems 9K72 Elbrus passed through Red Square. Engine capacity is 525 hp. Top speed is 63 Km/h and load capacity is 21000 kg. They were used as fire trucks at the major airports, large chemical plants and spaceports such as the Baikonur Cosmodrome.
