. ZIL-117 is a Soviet high-class passenger car with a sedan body. The successor is ZIL-41041 (1986-2000). ZIL-117 was created in 1971 on the basis of the government limousine ZIL-114 and had the same strict and harmonious forms. Despite the reduction in length and wheelbase, the silhouette of the car remained swift and elegant, fully consistent with the official image of passenger ZIL-s. Externally ZIL-117 was also different in the design of the front of the body. In addition to black, the car was painted in dark blue and dark cherry colors. ZIL-117V (1972-1978) is an open version with a two-door body type Phaeton with a folding fabric tent. A special mechanism, equipped with an electric motor, folded the tent for 10-15 seconds. ZIL-117V was painted in black and dark gray colors. Phillips ZIL-117B participated in military parades on Red Square in Moscow from 1972 to 1980. Later, they were transferred to Leningrad (St. Petersburg), where they participated in the parades on the Palace Square from 1981 to 2008. A total of 11 copies were issued.
