BMW Alpina B6 3.5S: An 80s Icon

The BMW M3 E30 serves as the base for many sought-after sports car versions of the 80s, including the Alpina B6 3.5S. This model comes from the E30 generation, produced from 1982 to 1994. The base model, the BMW M3 E30, was co-developed by Paul Rosche and holds a legendary reputation. Rosche, as the chief engineer, was responsible for the specifications of the engine that made the BMW M3 E30 a standout vehicle. Alpina, a renowned tuner founded by Burkard Bovensiepen in 1965, took the M3 E30 as a base and crafted the Alpina B6 3.5S.
