The VW beetle, one of the most famous cars in the world.
Over 21 million beetles were built between 1938 and 2015.
The origin of the first KdF car (Kraft durch Freude) was in the 3rd Reich, where Ferdinand Porsche received the order 1934 through the Reichsverband of the German automobile industry to the development of a "Volkswagen".
There have been numerous changes and adaptations of the model over the years, but in the basic form it has remained more or less always identical.

The model shown here is a type 55, built from 1954 to 1955.
Version with oval rear window and side "winders" for directional indication in the B-pillars. Color "Polarsilber", at that time already with Metalliclack and Chromsteiste.
Engine: 4 cylinder box engine with 1192cc displacement and 30 HP power.
