For the Group 5 races of the "Super Silhouette category" Nissan sent a skyline turbo on the slopes from 1982 onwards.
The brawny appearance of the vehicle was adapted to the specifications of the FIA. The rules were relatively simple: the width of the car, the roof course, the doors and bonnet were not changed. Of spoilers, shock absorbers and the mudguards, nobody said anything .........
And so the spoilers and mudguards grew just up and above all in the width.
(For the recording of the huge rear tires were also necessary wide fender ....)
The "Super Silhouette" was the Nissan Skyline RS Turbo, a car that was very sleek in its road form and was very popular.
Technical specifications:
4 cylinder, 2.0 liter displacement (standard in the normal skyline) and technically modified to 570 hp power (!!!)
Front tires: 270er 16 Zoll
Rear: 350er 19 inch
Empty weight 1.005 kg, steel tube frame with aluminum lining (on the "normal" vehicle parts) and fiberglass mounting.
In 1982, Hasemi Masahiro won 2 victories and won 5 victories in 1983.
The model:
A masterpiece of the company AUTOart from the "Signature" series.
From over 400 parts a perfect implementation was built. The painting with all stickers is fault-free and even the smallest details were taken into account. The suspension functions as a model, the front part can be removed and releases the extremely detailed engine in 1:18.
The interior is reproduced in a precise manner and also the underfloor with all cables and leads.
The model is a true piece of the museum and can be measured with the quality of BBR and even some CMC models.
A special feature of the model is the addition of additional wheel covers and a helmet model by the former driver Hasemi Masahiro.
