The 908 series was Porsche's answer to the racing regulations in force since 1968, whereby there was a restriction of the motor class to 3 liters displacement.
The 908s were available in different versions of the plastic body, which was mounted over an aluminum grate frame. There were open Spyder, Coupes, and short and long tail variants.

Engine:
8 cylinders, 3.0 liters displacement, power between 350 - 370 hp

The model:
Extremely detailed model from AUTOart from the signature series. Perfect varnishing and excellent attachment of the decals.
Even the smallest details are worked wonderfully. The engine can measure with significantly more expensive models.

The figure of the racing driver is a very beautifully crafted miniature by Joseph "Jo" Siffert, the legendary Swiss racing driver, who unfortunately died in 1971 with a Formula 1 race (without World Championship status) following the consequences of an accident.
