The 250 GT Berlinetta short wheelbase (, passo corto ', in English SWB = short wheelbase) was established in 1959 presented at the Motor Show in Paris and was the embodiment of perfect road racing car. In 1961 the corresponding customers could purchase the vehicle at the dealer.
With just a few small changes (among others spark with a lower temperature, racing tires and a roll bar) the car could compete on the world race circuit and to fight for victory in its class.
Its 3.0-liter V12 engine produced 286 hp and reached the car impressive 268 km / h (and 1961!)
The model
A masterpiece of CMC! The presented model is the racing version. The numerous small and smallest details are taken perfectly.
The motor is modeled with all wiring and pipes. Over all, sits the large air tub and the open carburetor. The tire sitting on wheels with individually retracted spokes and can be unscrewed by the central locking system.
The interior is in genuine leather.
On the bottom all lines are visible, also has this racing version an underbody plate
