The Ford Gran Torino , a typical representative of " Muscle Cars " . About 2 tons but with not much more room inside than your average compact car .
The engine size was between 4.1 liters and 7.5 liters. The V8 engines contributed so between 140-270 hp .
However, the consumption was also up 30 liters ....
This model is from the movie " Starsky & Hutch " . The car was so popular that Ford produced a series of 1000 vehicles in this special livery . These were equipped with a V8 engine with 5.8Litern displacement.
The model:
Very nicely designed model of Ertl . The finish is very clean . The interior design and detailing of the engine is simple but well done . The gaps are small. Unfortunately , it can not open the trunk.
The overall impression of the large and heavy model is very good .
