The Lamborghini Miura ... an icon in the sports car sector and for me one of the most beautiful cars ever built.
From 1966 to 1975 these vehicles were built, and even then they were rarely seen on the road.
Early on there were some special versions, including the Lamborghini Miura Jota. He was a unique piece with a slightly different appearance and as a special feature two fuel tanks in the side doors. From the Lamborghini factory were then later rebuilt 3 officially licensed versions.
Then there were the versions SVR and SVJ. These had z.T. Racing engines installed, the performance increase was significant. Up to 440 hp now made the 4.0 liter V12 engine.
The model:
Excellent model from Kyosho. Numerous perfectly realized details (racing straps inside, gas cap to open) and beautiful BBS spoke wheels as well as an error-free painting make for a fantastic overall impression.
specifically:
Which version of this model shows is not very clear. On the packaging is indeed Jota SVR (this version was also available in real) but in this case, the model would have to have a roof spoiler and painted red. This version is also available from Kyosho.
The model shown in orange also exists, but it has original rims.
Maybe Kyosho has built a mix. The red original is (or stood) with a collector in Japan after it was sold by the German owner and actual idea to this development, Heinz Steber.
In addition, there is a Miura SVJ designed for Patrick Mimran and up to the rims and wheels corresponds to the model shown here.
