The sleek Maserati Indy (named after the race in Indianapolis) was established between 1969 and 1975.
It offered 4 seats, the passengers on the back seat probably rather a bit scarce .....
The Indy was based on the same time produced Ghibli, the top model of Maserati, but had a slightly extended floor plate.
During the production years various engines were offered.
An 8 cylinder was always standard, the performance varied from 260-320 hp with a displacement between 4.2 and 4.9 liters.
The model:
Very nicely manufactured model of Minichamps from the limited "First Class Collection" from Resine. This means that unfortunately nothing can be opened. The overall impression is unique. A perfect paint finish, beautiful chrome elements and an interior that was truly outstanding.
Also the floor plate is fine imitated.
The model is limited and bears the number 028 of 999.
