Opel GT , Year from 1968 - 1973
First offered in 2 versions ( GT 1100 and GT 1900) in 1970 disappeared the small , rather unpopular GT 1100 from the market .
The successful 1900 GT had a 4 -cylinder engine of 90 bhp and the car accelerated to 185 km / h.
The design reminded , not coincidentally , at the famous Corvette . In the US, the Opel GT has been very successful , it was also called " baby - Corvette " .
The vehicle had no trunk , only one is accessible from the inside , flat storage space.
The pop-up headlights had to be opened manually by means of a lever .
The model:
A great unconverted model . The finish is very nice, the interior and the engine are modeled first class and the gap dimension of doors extremely minimal.
The headlamps can be rotated prototypically . Here the gaps are functional reasons somewhat larger .
The overall impression , however, is top notch
