Between 1954 and 1966 the Simca Vedette, according to the type designation, was built in different versions. Originally a model from Ford, Simca developed the series further, from 1957 the models exported to USA were sold as "Chrysler".
The name "Beaulieu" is only a type designation resp. a reference to the equipment. From 1957 onwards,
"Beaulieu" - average equipment
"Chambord" - upscale design
"Presence" - luxury variant with a longer wheelbase
"Marly" - Combiversion
Engine:
V8 with 2.3 liters displacement and 84 HP
The model:
Very nice model of Norev. The French manufacturer repeatedly produces models from his country and shows the whole range of vehicles. At the same time the detailing is astonishing.
Also with this model were some subtleties very beautifully implemented. Thus, the front grille is perforated and the trims are not only painted. The type designation "Vedette" on the bumper at the rear can only be read with a certain light incident.
The overall impression of the model is very good.
A note to the photos:
"Stilecht" the model was photographed in front of some buildings with French reference. For example a part of the castle "Belvedere" at Vienna and the French embassidy.
