In 1960 the Volvo P1800 was introduced, from 1961 it could be acquired. The design was Italian, a long bonnet and a slightly overhanging tail section, combined with the flat lines provided for a spectacular appearance.
The car quickly became a big success.

Engine: 4 cylinders, 2.0 liters displacement and 105 hp. Maximum speed 175 km / h.

The model:
Very nicely implemented by Revell, makellose paint and very beautifully detailed engine. Also the interior was well reproduced.

Special:
The P1800 became famous as the star of the TV series "The Saint" with Roger Moore as Simon Templar. By the way, he drove private a P1800 at that time.

Defects / shortcomings:
Fehlende Seitenspiegel wurden durch Nachbauten ersetzt.
