Between 1937 and 1940 approx. 2'000 pieces of this beautiful vehicle were manufactured in the automobile factory in Zwickau.
Horch was already considered a luxury brand with very reliable engines and advanced technical solutions. This was the brand, resp. The type 930 V but also the "doom" because most of these cars were requisitioned by the Wehrmacht, where they did not survive in gray camouflage color as vehicles of high officers mostly the following years ....
Engine:
V8 engine with 3.8 liters displacement and 92 hp.
This was enough for the then sensational top speed of 130 km / h.
In addition, the car had a so-called "fast-track" for the motorway.

While the normal citizen saved his money for a "KdF-Wagen" (later "Volkswagen") to pay the price of 990 Reichsmark, a few large-time earners of this vehicle made for the tenfold price (about 10'000.- Mark) ,
The model:
Excellently designed model of the company Ricko. The model is probably a highlight, although Ricko always surprised again, the numerous details are extremely well implemented.
The engine is neatly wired, the paint finish is fine and not too thick and the interior is convincing with carpet floor and hinged front seats.
A unique feature is the movable side windows of the doors, which can be lifted by crank. Down.
The doors sit on filigree hinges.
A small drawback is the attachable roof, which is unfortunately not quite fit. However, the excellent overall impression is not diminished.
