The Myth of the Porsche 911 (993) Turbo
The Porsche 911 (993) Turbo was built from 1995 to 1998 and is considered one of the last air-cooled 911 series. The 993 Turbo was the first model in the 911 series to be equipped with a twin-turbo engine as standard, offering impressive performance and advanced technology. Led by chief engineer Horst Marchart and designer Harm Lagaay, the 993 Turbo was a technological masterpiece. Its 3.6-liter six-cylinder engine produced 408 horsepower and propelled the car from 0 to 100 km/h (0 to 62 mph) in just 4.5 seconds.
